This is the last of the handmade, Crewe built cars prior to Volkswagen taking over with assembly line production. It features a heavily revised, hand built Twin turbocharged 6.75L powerplant that will lift the front end during hard acceleration. Yet it still remains to this day one of the smoothest powerplants ever fitted to a vehicle. With a claimed top speed of nearly 140mph - high speed cruise it does. At over five thousand pounds it wafts along with ease and is quiet as a tomb. This gives one plenty of time to look around and appreciate the handmade quality that went into making these vehicles. For close to a quarter million dollars (back in 2003) you get every surface covered in either wood, leather, or stainless steel.
